La chapelle est d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 Notre Dame de l&#039;Izard ou Notre Dame des Neiges dont le p\u00e8lerinage a lieu le 5 ao\u00fbt de chaque ann\u00e9e. Elle est situ\u00e9e face au pic du Crab\u00e8re et \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9tang d&#039;Araing sur les flancs d&#039;une montagne dite de l&#039;Izard (en patois du Couserans Capero de l&#039;Izard). On y acc\u00e8de apr\u00e8s une heure trente \u00e0 deux heures de marche.
